The annual Fayette Power Pull returns this month for its golden anniversary. Presented yearly by the Fayette Optimist Club, the popular event kicks off on Saturday, June 18 at the Howard County Fairgrounds for its 50th run.
Pit gates will open at 10 a.m. with main spectator gates opening at 2 p.m. Things get started with the youth pedal pull at 4 p.m. The main event will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The Power Pull will feature the following Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Classes: 95 Limited Pro Stock Tractors, 85 Limited Pro Stock Tractors, Limited Pro Diesel Trucks, Light Pro Stock Tractors, and also Pro Street 4x4 and Pro Stock 4x4 events.
The cost to enter is $20 for spectators above the age of 12 and $5 for kids aged seven through 12. Kids aged six and younger will be admitted free of charge. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs. Concessions will be available on site.
All proceeds from the pull support youth programs in the Fayette area.
