Armstrong resident, Patricia Clayton, age 61, passed away peacefully at her home on June 9, 2024.

Patricia Geraldine Clayton, affectionately known as Tricia, was born July 9, 1962 in Fayette, MO. She was a daughter to the late Robert and Shirley (Vineyard) Campbell. Tricia attended Fayette High School and later earned her GED. 

She was the wife of David Clayton for numerous years until the time of her death.  Tricia held several jobs throughout her career, including working for Penny Plate and the Pierce Home. She primarily worked for Caterpillar as a facilitator for 17 years, which was a job she truly enjoyed. When she was able, Tricia loved to dance and spend time outdoors, fishing and mushroom hunting.

Survivors include her husband, David Clayton of Armstrong, Missouri; two siblings, Dusty (Vicki) Wells of Fayette, Missouri and Karen (Danny) Pirtle of Fayette, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and relatives. 

In addition to her parents, Tricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Campbell, and her step-son, Ronald Lee Clayton.

Following Patricia’s final wishes, there will no public memorial services. Memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
