Peggy Waller Studley, 68, of New Franklin, Mo., passed away on March 21, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Peggy was born on February 5, 1957, in Fayette, Mol, to Mary Wyatt Waller and Wilbur (Bill) Waller. Peggy attended Fayette High School.
Peggy was a hard worker, and it was not unusual for her to have two or even three jobs at one time. She worked several manufacturing jobs at National Garment in Fayette, Mo., later working at Toastmaster and Nordyne in Boonville, Mo. She worked at the University Hospital and held a second job at Rome Pizzeria. She retired from the Department of Corrections as a Storekeeper II on December 31, 2022. She worked part-time for many years at Snoddy’s Store in Old Franklin.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Tommy) Mabe of Branson, Mo., Dr. Jason (Jennifer) Studley of Columbus, Ga., Wyatt (Sara) Studley and Matthew (NeCole) Studley of New Franklin, Mo.; grandchildren, Lacey (Zack Moore) Senevey, Josey Senevey, Riley Mathews, Cain, Savannah, Bryce and Samanatha, Paige and Connor Studley and great-grandson, Asher Riatt. Also surviving are sisters Cindy (Jamie) Sanders and Debbie (Edward) Dodson.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Bill Waller; infant brother, Tony; infant son, Billy Joe; sister, Mary Lynn; and a niece, Toni.
Peggy’s family will host a Celebration of Life Gathering beginning at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Peggy’s home located at 840 County Road 467, New Franklin, Mo.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
