Richard Gorman, 63, passed away suddenly at his home in rural Armstrong on Thursday, July 15, 2021.
Richard Leon Gorman was born May 3, 1958 in Salem, MO. He was one of nine children born to Eyul and Hazel (Berry) Gorman. Richard attended Salem High School. For the last 13 years, Richard worked as a farmer in the agriculture industry. He enjoyed being outdoors tending to his garden, hunting and fishing. Richard loved his family and truly cherished the time he was able to spend with them, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by three children, Loria (Justin) Hogg of Fayette, MO, Jimmie Gorman of Armstrong, MO and Tiffany Gorman of Fulton, MO; seven grandchildren, Hayley, Jayden, James, Clayton, Paisley, David and Aragorn; and seven siblings, Eyulene (Jim) Mendenhall of Salem, MO, Elva Gorman of Salem, MO, Roger (Vicki) Gorman of Kansas City, MO, Pam (James) Kaffer of Salem, MO, Randy (Debi) Gorman of Brunswick, MO, Sheila (Steve) Ragain of Armstrong, MO and Sandy Gorman of Salem, MO. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother, Jeffrey Gorman.
A celebration of life gathering will be held 1-3 PM, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette, MO.
