Sand Green Classic raises money for new clubhouse

Posted

The Fayette Golf Course announced the early stages of building a new clubhouse. It will be designed not only for the course members, but to host events for the community as well.

The course hosted its annual 34th Annual Lowell Eaton Sand Green Classic on Sunday, July 14.

Course President Leah Flaspohler  called the event a huge success, despite the early morning rains and a delayed start. “It’s the major fundraising event for the course and a vital part of keeping it open. We can’t thank the players, volunteers, and sponsors enough for their support!”

Kirk Besgrove and Keyton Schweighauser won the two-man scramble.
