The Fayette Tree Board is grateful to Dennis Daniels and City of Fayette crew for so carefully planting 10 of the 12 free trees from Forest ReLeaf in our city parks! At Paige Liberty Park, a Fringe tree and Red Oak were planted. At Ricketts Lake, a Fringe tree was planted. At the Fayette City Park, 4 Redbuds, 2 Serviceberry and 1 Red Oak have been planted. They also assisted with the planting of the Lucile Thurman Memorial Dogwood tree near the Splash Pad and the transplanting of the Rotary Club Oak tree from the courthouse. In the course of the past year, they have planted over 20 new trees with more to come as the Cost Share grant work begins. Be sure and thank them when you see them out working. We couldn't get anything done without their help.
