The Friends of Historic Fayette Memorial Pool would like to thank Bee’s Knees Taproom at the Nest for its support of our mission to raise money to preserve, renovate, upgrade and maintain the Fayette Swimming Pool.

Bee’s Knees initiated a “Donation Roundup” campaign and raised $350.00 which will be used for the 50/50 match to the Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant which the City of Fayette is applying for with assistance from the Fayette Historic Preservation Commission and the Friends of Historic Fayette Memorial Pool. We would also like to thank the patrons who participated in the “Donation Roundup.” This could not have happened without you!

According to Kelsey Wilson, General Manager at Bee’s Knees, “We have done donation roundups at our Versailles location before and none have ever raised that much money. It is very clear that the Fayette community is very supportive and excited to see the potential renovations to the pool!”

Donations and letters of support are still being accepted for the 50/50 match by sending a donation to Judy Thompson, City Clerk, Fayette City Hall, 117 S. Main St., Fayette, MO 65248.
