The Fayette area received between two and three inches of rainfall, depending on where you were standing, Tuesday into Wednesday.
The first round caused a city-wide interruption in electrical services on Tuesday evening. Power was restored shortly before 6 p.m. Small hail was observed falling amid heavy rain in Fayette.
The second round arrived around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
High winds caused damage to trees, with limbs scattered around lawns and over roadways. No injuries were reported.
