The Fayette High School athletics program will host its third annual Black & Gold Gala on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Church Hall, with proceeds benefiting athletic programs throughout the year.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a social hour and silent auction, followed by a buffet-style meal prepared by The Big Maple served at 6 p.m. The silent auction closes at 7:30 p.m., and a live auction will begin at 8 p.m.

Auctions include Falcon apparel and other swag, gift cards and baskets, tickets to the Kansas City zoo, and a handmade quilt by FHS track coach Stacy Menees. Apart from items up for grabs are several unique experiences with various teams, such as special luxury seats, private lessons, reserved game day parking, and sideline experiences. Bidders can vie for a chance to be a first-base coach for an inning with the FHS baseball team or be the high school principal for the day.

Individual tickets cost $40, and a table for eight may be reserved for $320. Ticket sales end on Sunday, August 9, and payments must be received by August 10. Tickets can be purchased online at forms.gle/7tYM9HxViiVtxEef7. Payments may be mailed or dropped off at the school. Only cash or checks will be accepted at the event.

Tea and water will be provided, and attendees are welcome to bring coolers. However, organizers request that no students attend due to the nature of the event.

Those interested in donating items for the auction should contact a varsity coach. Questions may be directed to Stacy Menees at smenees@fayetteschool.org.
