The annual Fayette Area Firemen’s Hog Roast is this Sunday at the Fayette Fire Station at 301 West Morrison Street. Meals will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Meals often sell out quickly, so it is advised to put in orders early.
The carry-out only menu includes pulled pork, green beans, and potato salad, with a roll and a dessert. Local deliveries may be called in to (660) 248-4004.
The cost for a meal is $10. The hog roast serves as a fundraiser for the all-volunteer departments. All proceeds are spent on firefighting and life-saving equipment.
