BTC officially takes over Glasgow's Tri-County Trust

BTC Bank announced the successful completion of the system conversion of the former Tri-County Trust Company location in Glasgow, and the former Tipton Latham Bank, N.A. locations in Tipton and Latham, Missouri. The conversion took place over the weekend of June 26 and marks the final phase of integrating the three locations into the BTC Bank network.

The sales were announced in February.

The conversions were the latest in an expansion of BTC in the area. BTC bought out Salisbury-based Merchants & Farmers Bank in 2021, which operated branches in Fayette, Salisbury, Hardin, and Columbia. It later sold its Columbia branch to Connections Bank in October 2025. Additionally, BTC operates a branch in Boonville.

BTC Bank now operates now operates 30 locations across Missouri, Iowa and Arkansas, along with a mobile branch serving rural communities. Founded in 1919, it has grown to be the number one agricultural bank in Missouri, as recognized by the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), with total assets exceeding $1.5 billion.

Customers of Glasgow, Tipton, and Latham will continue to work with their local bankers.
