The City of Fayette will cut power for up to four hours overnight on Thursday, July 2 in order to bring the city’s second transformer online. The outage is planned from 1 to 4 a.m., although a shorter transition is anticipated.
All Fayette utility customers will be without power during the installation of the transformer. It is important to plan accordingly when setting alarm clocks or running appliances overnight.
