The deadline to apply to the Fayette Area Common Fund is Friday, August 21. The nonprofit fund is dedicated to providing financial resources to local organizations that benefit the community.
For 49 years, the Common Fund has supported local groups, including the Fayette Senior Citizens Center, Parents as Teachers, the Fayette Ministerial Alliance Buddy Pack and Benevolence Fund, PAWS, and the Christmas Holiday House.
Grant application packets have been sent to various local groups and may be picked up from Paula Thies at Howard Electric Cooperative.
Completed applications and supporting documentation may be dropped off to Julie Parrish at Exchange Bank of Missouri, or mailed to Paula Thies at Howard Electric Cooperative, PO Box 391, Fayette, MO 65248. See ad on Page 2.
