To the Editor:

Local elections shape the future of our community, and voters deserve the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to represent them. To help inform the public before Election Day, the GFWC Golden Study Club will host a Candidate Forum on Thursday, March 26th, at 7 p.m. in the conference room in the Keller Building.

Candidates for the offices of Mayor and City Marshall have been invited to participate and share their perspectives on issues important to our community. The forum will give residents of Fayette an opportunity to hear the candidates discuss their priorities and learn how they plan to serve our city. The three running unopposed for alderman are also invited and will be given a few minutes to introduce themselves and share their hopes for our community.

Community members are encouraged to attend, listen, and become informed voters. Civic engagement is vital to a strong community, and we hope this event will give each voter the information they need to make thoughtful decisions on the day of the election.

This event is free and open to the public. We hope to see many of our Fayette residents there!

Sincerely,

Sheri Eaton
