For the fourth year in a row, the Fayette Police Department will be selling pork steaks to benefit the Fayette Holiday House.
Officers will serve pork steak dinners starting at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 2 at the Fayette city shed just south of C&R Market on Church Street. For $12, a diners will receive a pork steak along a baked potato, green beans, and a roll with water and a dessert. Kids meals include hot dogs and chips for $5.
Last year, the department donated more than $1,700 to the Holiday House, all of which was raised at the pork steak fundraiser.
The Christmas Holiday House is presented annually under the auspices of the First Christian Church in Fayette. Every year the project distributes toys, games, art supplies, books, hats, and gloves to provide happy holiday celebrations for registered families.
