Howard County Collector Jinger Felten announced on Monday that she will run for a fourth term. She will be a candidate on the Republican ticket in the August primary.
Felten said her experience in the office makes her qualified to continue serving the county. “I will continue to fulfill the duties as collector and serve you with accuracy, honesty, integrity, and in a courteous manner,” she said.
Jinger and her husband, Torey, are both Howard County natives. Torey farms alongside his father, Leroy, and drives a truck for Cooper Trucking. They reside on a farm two miles west of Fayette with their four children.
“I sincerely appreciate the support and kindness you have given me in the past and ask for your continuous vote and support this year,” she said.
