The Fayette High School marching band swept Carrollton Band Day on Saturday, taking first in the street, field, and indoor drumline competitions on the way to winning the coveted Sweepstakes Trophy.
Fayette was also named best Auxiliary Caption (field color guard) and Percussion Caption (field drumline and pit). The middle school marching band also won the parade competition.
Next up for Fayette is CMU Band Day on Saturday, October 12 in Fayette.
