Cecilia Rabell, Regional Production Director at Pipestone, will be the featured speaker during the Aug. 26 Pearls of Production session celebrating the International Year of the Woman Farmer, hosted by University of Missouri Extension.
Rabell brings a global perspective to livestock production, having worked in Mexico, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Trained as a veterinarian and geneticist, she has built a career helping livestock producers improve animal performance through genetics, innovation, and production management.
Before joining Pipestone, Rabell spent eight years with PIC (Pig Improvement Company), serving customers throughout North and Latin America in technical and leadership roles. Today, she leads production teams and continues to advance innovation in the livestock industry.
The event will be held via Zoom at noon on August 26. To register, go to https://pears.io/events/mu/9148/.
Rabell’s presentation will highlight her unique career journey and offer insights into global livestock production, leadership, and opportunities for the next generation of agricultural professionals.
“Few people have the opportunity to learn from someone whose career has spanned five countries and multiple sectors of the livestock industry. Cecilia’s experience offers valuable lessons in leadership, resilience, and the power of lifelong learning,” said Heather Conrow, 2026 Pearls of Production committee chairman.
