The 2026 edition of the Fayette Festival of the Arts on Saturday was a tremendous success, despite the unseasonably cool and rainy weather. The annual event drew families and art lovers from across mid-Missouri to dozens of professional, amateur, and student artworks, along with musical acts, a magician, a car show, a quilt show, and a cake contest and auction. Vendors dotted the courthouse square, and tents kept performers dry during the misty morning. A full list of winners and additional photos appear on Pages 6 and 7.
