Hilgedick Electric Service announced last week that after 65 years in the electrical and HVAC business, the company will close its doors. Dec. 31 will be the final day the company accepts new service calls.
Founded in 1960, Hilgedick Electric Service has served residential, commercial, and industrial customers throughout the region.
“The staff at Hilgedick’s appreciates all the customers we have been honored to serve over the years,” said Dave Huntsman, office manager. “This has been more than a business; it’s been a part of the community and of our lives. We are deeply grateful for the trust our customers have placed in us for more than six decades.”
Hilgedick Electric Service will continue to honor its existing commitments through the end of this year and into early next year, ensuring that current projects are completed and service promises are fulfilled.
“We want our customers to know that we will fulfill our commitments through the end of the year and into next,” Huntsman added. “Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone who has relied on us.”
Customers with questions about existing work or upcoming appointments are encouraged to contact the office before the end of the year.
