LINN MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Fayette made a donation in the amount of $1,700 to the Fayette Senior Center last week. The funds were raised through a special “Italian Restaurant” event held by the church at the Senior Center on Sunday, October 26. The Senior Center has been a center of community focus since it was announced earlier this year that the organization is operating on a 30 percent smaller budget, after funds were slashed by Aging Best. The Senior Center also recently received a $500 donation from the Fayette branch of BTC Bank.
