Kiersten O’Dell, owner of Market Street Floral in downtown Glasgow, was named the 2025 Howard County recipient for the Women Who Own It Awards by the Missouri Women’s Business Center at a ceremony held on Thursday, Nov. 6.

O’Dell has owned Market Street Floral for 11 years. Her shop is renowned for crafting one-of-a-kind arrangements and warming hearts with flowers and gifts. In addition to owning Market Street Floral, O’Dell is the Operations Manager for Resource Group Insurance. She also serves on the Missouri Women’s Business Center Board.

The Women Who Own It Awards ceremony was held in the Kimball Ballroom at Stephens College. Each award recognizes an outstanding woman entrepreneur from Central Missouri, representing one of the counties served by the Missouri Women’s Business Center. 

O’Dell was nominated by her peers and selected as an awardee by the Women Who Own It Advisory Committee for her business acumen and her contributions to her community.

The Missouri Women’s Business Center is a program of Central Missouri Community Action dedicated to providing small business development assistance to entrepreneurs throughout Central Missouri. This is accomplished through coaching, relevant programming, training sessions, events, and continued support and resources to help entrepreneurs set and reach their goals.
