Missouri House Rep. Kurtis Gregory- R, Marshall, speaks to about two dozen attendees to the Howard County Farm Bureau Strawberry Festival held at the Fayette City Park on Tuesday, June 25.
The annual event went on despite a late afternoon rainstorm that caused power interruptions in Fayette.
“It was a beautiful evening following the rain,” said organizer Chris Rohlfing.
Rep. Gregory was the only active politician to speak. Hope Tinker spoke in place of Fayette resident and Missouri District 48 House candidate Joe Jefferies. Paul Lehman gave the Green Party overview.
