The Fayette City Park is once again alight with Holiday cheer. The Friends of Historic Fayette Memorial Pool present the annual Sparkle in the Park every December, with businesses, organizations, and individuals adding lighted displays. The lights add some color and warmth as the days become shorter and the nights longer and colder.
The Friends of Historic Fayette Memorial Pool thank the City of Fayette for providing electricity for the nearly two dozen lighted displays. The free event gets larger every year. Those interested in adding lights to the park next year should contact Ann Schnell at annschnell@icloud.com or 660-728-2102 to reserve a spot.
“We would love to light up the whole park,” Schnell said.
