Trunk-or-Treat will be Drive-Thru this year

Posted

Fayette Main Street will host a drive-thru Trunk-or-Treat this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The popular event is held annually on Halloween night in downtown Fayette. Organizations, businesses, and individuals decorate cars and pass out candy to trick-or-treaters in a centralized location. Costumed children may safely roam from car to car playing games and gathering treats.

This year’s event will be drive-thru only. Vehicles will enter Main Street where it intersects with Walnut Street and the proceed north. Trunk-or-Treat participants will be parked along the street. Trick-or-Treaters are asked to stay in their vehicles so as to adhere to distancing recommendations. Cars will then exit when Main Street dead ends at Elm Street.
