To the editor:

The protection of a child in the mother’s womb has always been very dear to my heart. My husband and I have raised two boys who the majority of society would have had their lives cut short by abortion. They spent many years in deplorable homes. At some point God brought them to us and at age 37 and 42, they are exceptional human beings, incredibly successful, both with beautiful families of their own.

Right now Missouri has a ban against abortion. Hope Tinker has stated in her letter to the editor that even in the case of a mother’s life being in danger an abortion would not be allowed as the law stands now. This is not true. I spoke with a State Representative this morning. As the law stands now a mother can receive an abortion if her life is in danger or the baby has died in the womb.

If amendment 3 passes, abortions would be legal up until the 9th month. Also in this amendment a child under the age of 18 can receive sex transformation therapy without the Parent’s permission. Hope Tinker speaks of the mother’s reproductive rights. I for one will continue to speak on the behalf of the little ones who have no voice. The safest place for a child should be in a mother’s womb. Satan has once again distorted one of God’s most beautiful creations, life.

I urge you to vote NO, NO, NO on Amendment 3 on November 5th.
