Longtime Howard County Road & Bridge employee Jared Wies will challenge two-term incumbent Jerimiah Johnmeyer for the Republican nomination for Howard County Presiding Commissioner during the August primary.
An 18-year veteran of the Road & Bridge department, Wies is a lifelong Howard County farmer.
“My wife, Elizabeth, and I farm alongside our two sons, Ely and Justin,” Wies said. “I’m committed to serving the citizens of Howard County with integrity and dedication.”
