The Fayette Festival of the Arts will include a classic car show for the second year in a row. Sponsored by Community Auto, it will be held as part of the 2024 Fayette Festival of the Arts next Saturday, August 3.
The Classic Car Show will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the block of Davis Street along the downtown Fayette square. Pre-registration is currently underway.
Trophies will be awarded for cars from the 1970s and before and from the 1970s and up, along with a “survivor” and “people’s choice.” There is no fee for entry, judging, or admission to the car show or the festival.
There is limited space along the one-block area, so pre-registration is recommended by emailing fayetteartsfestival@gmail.com. Entries will also be accepted by mail and at Community Auto on Church Street in downtown Fayette. Entries will also be accepted starting at 7 a.m. on the day of the show.
