Cana Conrow is leaving her post as executive director of Downtown Fayette, formerly Fayette Main Street, at the end of May.
Conrow was named executive director in April 2023 after having successfully revived the defunct Fayette Chamber of Commerce.
Conrow, who also owns and operates Gold Apple Boutique, a women’s clothing store on the south side of the courthouse square, said she is stepping down to focus more on her family.
A lifelong resident of Fayette. She and her husband, Kyle, are raising two young boys and are all active members of the community. Kyle is a full time firefighter in Columbia, and is one of two new directors of the county’s emergency management office starting this month.
