Posted

Burying a time capsule in a clandestine place on June 23 are members of the Fayette-Howard Masonic Lodge # 4, AF&AM, along with some distinguished guests. A time capsule burial ceremony was held at their Lodge Hall in Fayette.

The Masons placed a cartogram in the Fayette Bicentennial Time Capsule that was buried on the courthouse lawn earlier this year. It contains a cypher to that will give clues to the location of their own time capsule. Both capsules will be opened in 50 years.
