Four Fayette Rotary members named Paul Harris Fellows

Posted

Rotary Assistant District Governor Brad Martens recognized four members of the Fayette Rotary Club as Paul Harris Fellows at the club’s regular meeting on Wednesday, May 15.

To be honored as a Paul Harris Fellow, a member must contribute at least $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation’s Annual Fund, Polio Plus, or an approved Foundation grant. These funds can be used to honor others while being applied to the work that has distinguished the Rotary Foundation as an organization that aims to provide hope, health, and peace worldwide.

Martens recognized Erik Martinez as a new Paul Harris Fellow. Dr. Jessica Quint, Jackie Byland, and Marty Ferry are multiple Paul Harris Fellows who have, according to Martens, “repeatedly gone above and beyond in doing good in the world.”

Martens noted that each of those recognized “will likely never meet the children, women, and men who benefit from your donations, but on their behalf, I offer a sincere ‘Thank You.’”
