Voting NO on amendment 3

Posted

Dear Editor, the letter to the Editor that was printed in the October, 16 edition stated that I am incorrect, that amendment 3 would allow for underage individuals to under go sex transformation without parental permission.

I admit to my mistake. However in article after article that I read this amendment would open up the door for this to take place. Once you start down a slippery slope there is no way of knowing where it will end.

Amendment 3 would allow abortion up to 24 weeks. Is this supposed to comfort us? At 24 weeks a baby is fully formed. Does the general public have any idea what an abortion at that stage entails? As a Christian who believes in the sanctity of life I will remind you once again, in Missouri at this time all abortions have been banned unless the mother’s life is in danger.

I wish to keep that law in place, voting yes to Amendment 3 would abolish our current law. The babies in the womb at any stage have no voice.

I will be their voice! On November 5, I am voting NO on amendment 3, I urge you

on behalf of the voiceless to do the same.

Prayerfully submitted, Vickie Gassman.
