The end of May marks a time of celebration as seniors from our area high schools and colleges walk across the stage to receive their hard-earned diplomas. 

Central Methodist graduated nearly 600 students from its various campuses on Saturday afternoon, and New Franklin handed out 36 diplomas during its commencement ceremony on Sunday.

Fayette, Glasgow, Harrisburg, and Higbee high schools will all hold graduation ceremonies this weekend. Higbee kicks things off at 7 p.m. on Friday. Fayette, Glasgow, and Harrisburg will all hold their commencement ceremonies at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Each year, the Fayette Advertiser honors our area high school seniors with a special section, complete with photos of all graduates from Fayette, New Franklin, Glasgow, Harrisburg, and Higbee. This would not be possible without the sponsorships from our local businesses. Please show your appreciation by shopping locally. The special section is included with this edition for all subscribers to the print edition of the Advertiser. It will also be made available at area banks and businesses free of charge.

Online subscribers will see an abridged version of the senior edition. Due to a contract stipulation between New Franklin High School and the company that photographed its seniors, those senior photos are not allowed to be presented on the internet. However, those wishing to see the entire edition may pick up print copies around Fayette.
