Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation (MAEDC) announces the addition of Kaylee Paffrath as the Director of Business Development. In her role, she will work to support business retention and expansion efforts with current businesses as well as promote new investment in Howard and Randolph counties by developing relationships with government agencies, developers, and current and prospective industrial, retail, and commercial clients.
“We are excited to add Kaylee to our team at MAEDC,” stated MAEDC President Randy Asbury. “Kaylee’s enthusiasm, energy, and business experience will allow her to quickly add value to our services and assist MAEDC to become more effective in our efforts to support our business communities and local entrepreneurs.”
“Setting goals and working hard to achieve them is an integral part of life, and running the extra mile is my approach to reach those goals. I am thrilled to join the team here at MAEDC and look forward to tackling the broad body of projects in the works”, says Paffrath. “With this mindset, I look forward to meeting my colleagues and clients and embarking on this new and exciting journey together.”
Paffrath is a lifelong resident of Northeastern Missouri with extensive experience in business development. She brings to MAEDC critical skills in process development and implementation as well as business attraction and retention.
Ms. Paffrath joins MAEDC from Moberly Area Community College (MACC), where she was Director of Marketing and Public Relations and was responsible for managing the college’s Alumni Association and MACC Foundation, Inc.
She received a B.S. in Business Administration and her M.B.A. with an emphasis on International Business and Operations Management from Columbia College (Columbia, MO). Paffrath currently resides in Moberly with her husband Colin and their two children, Maxwell and Harper.
MAEDC works to promote investment within Howard and Randolph counties through expansion of existing businesses, new business attraction, community development, and entrepreneurial development. MAEDC provides economic development services for the Howard County Economic Development Council.
