Fayette resident Sean Pridgeon has been conferred the Alumni Achievement Award from the Missouri Nursing Alumni Organization.
Pridgeon holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and serves as the Director of Professional Practice at MU Heath Care in Columbia. He is responsible for creating and implementing the vision of the professional nurse throughout the continuum of a nurse’s career.
Additionally, Pridgeon oversees the AACN Magnet Program, which designates organizations worldwide where nursing leaders successfully align their nursing strategic goals to improve patient outcomes.
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs prepare nurse leaders at the highest level of nursing practice to improve patient outcomes and translate research into practice.
A graduate of Central Methodist, Pridgeon is a Major in the US Army Reserves and is active in the Fayette Optimist Club.
